Missions
New in 2025 our mission committee has partnered with Oskaloosa schools to participate in a Pen Pal Program with local 5th graders. This will be a new endeavor to connect with our community across generational lines. Volunteers will write letters throughout the school year and our church hopes to make this an annual tradition!
First Presbyterian Church of Oskaloosa, IA is actively involved in a variety of mission ministries! Missional purpose of our church extends to both our community and abroad. We support missionaries, local community mission groups and our church committees all find ways to share Christ's call for discipleship and mission within their projects.
Craft Fellowships have been added to our church activities which includes learning a new craft with the supplies donated with the participants able to complete and take home a craft. A free will offering is collected and donated to the group's choice of missions.

Operation Christmas Child!
Each year our church donates over 100 shoebox gifts to Operation Christmas Child.
OCC is a mission that is shared throughout our church groups and Sunday schools as a project teaching evangelism by packing a Christmas gift for children located all over the world! Together we can share the good news to children with a simple gift.
Join us in 2025 as we pack more shoeboxes for this awesome ministry!
