Music at First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church of Oskaloosa offers a strong tradition of music ministry. Our church houses a pipe organ that is played each Sunday morning. We also share special music most Sundays with our choir and other talented soloists and instrumentalists. Time of Praise begins at 10:15 and music is experienced throughout the service.

Meet Our Staff

Michelle Dickinson Coleman (music director and organist) is also an elementary music and orchestra teacher in Oskaloosa. When she is not teaching or making music, she likes to read, exercise, spend time outdoors, and go camping.

Tyler Coleman (accompanist) is also the 6-12 orchestra director at Oskaloosa Schools. In his free time, Tyler likes to learn new instruments, compose music, and gig with his carribean funk band, Jumbies, around Iowa.
