From Pastor Sarai and the Session,
In light of all the recommendations from President Trump, the CDC, and Governor Reynolds regarding Covid-19, the session has decided to suspend worship services and other gatherings beginning immediately.
Beginning this Sunday, we will not gather for worship, although a shortened form of worship will be live-streamed. We will let you know when we're able to start in-person worship again.
We're asking committees, PW, and other groups to not meet or to meet via conference calls or web-based services like Zoom for the time being.
Until such time as all of us are asked to stay home and shelter in place, Judy will continue to have her regular office hours at the church and I will be in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. I will not be making in-person pastoral visits, but we can always talk, email, or text, so let me know if you need a virtual visit. You can reach me at any time at 515-231-3958 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let Judy know if you have a question or need assistance.
If you are a person who typically donates to the church by putting something in the offering plate on Sunday morning, please mail your donations to the church. We need to be able to continue to pay the bills, even though we're not able to gather.
Most importantly, know that God loves you and is with you in the midst of the chaos.
